I am an educator of 6th graders at the best middle school in Louisiana! After attending Louisiana State University, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a focus on English.
I look forward to challenging my students daily and have them challenge me as well. At the middle school, we are focused on our students being the good citizens along with striving for academic excellence. In 6th grade, we are focused on piloting a 1:1 iPAD program, piloting a new text book for Pearson, teaching the Common Core, and working on COMPASS daily.
While teaching at the middle school, I have seen a change: districts, administration, curriculum, and buildings. Change makes you refocus and renew. That is my hope for this blog.
